Buzzard Beach Bar opened on September 1st, 2009, right on picturesque Lake Eustis. Owners Jack and Laurie Protzman saw this beautiful lakefront location in Tavares, and envisioned the perfect hangout that everyone in Lake County could come to – relax and enjoy themselves.

Since opening, Buzzard Beach has enjoyed a tremendous amount of positive feedback and goodwill. Word of mouth has spread and it has become a friendly home away from home for many people throughout the community and Central Florida.

Buzzard Beach is located right on Lake Eustis, just past the public boat launch on the north side of U.S. Hwy. 441. We’re easy to reach wherever you live or work in Lake County – just minutes from almost everywhere. Plus, you can also reach us by boat, and dock right outside our bar.

You can’t say enough for the Lake County Motorcyclist Association. They organized a terrific memorial ride for Karen Stover. Karen helped a lot of children over a 25 year period as a Foster Parent. For the past 15 years, Karen was President of the Lake County Foster Parent Association. She worked hard on helping children have a Christmas. Over 500 foster children and other needy children under state care.

Grez Denver, Chairman of the Lake County Motorcyclist along with Gregg “Bones” Case with the Central Florida Cruisers headed up the poker run. They could not have asked for better weather.
